Teddy Adhitya Let Out His Goofy Self on “Let Me” Music Video
Soloist Teddy Adhitya has revealed his debut album “Nothing Is Real” at the end of February this year and on the first of April, a music video for the lead single “Let Me” has been uploaded onto his Youtube channel. Directed by Adhi Reksa, the video sees the singer goofs around and does silly things with a bunch of friends. Teddy moves to the grooves of this song while skating, playing at the beach, and playing around at the rail road. It also captures beautiful shot of the beach, and other scenic scenes at some places that we assume to be taken in Yogyakarta. “Let Me” is the second single off this album after the first single called “In Your Wonderland”. The song itself is an easy listening R&B/pop number that showcases acoustic instrumentation with Teddy Adhitya’s distinctive style of vocal. Although, the lyrics suggest that this song is a romantic track befit for a couple, the video says otherwise which means that the listeners are free to interpret and enjoy this song.
Furthermore, in his album “Nothing Is Real”, the 25-year-old musician said that it represents various of feelings. “This album is very personal to the 25-year-old me who is always close to romance. The nine tracks that I wrote for this album were based on true stories, that have different narratives but still relate to each other,” utters Teddy Adhitya. Besides those two aforementioned tracks, there are other seven tracks which makes this album contains 9 songs in total. The singer is currently going on a mini tour called Let Me Tour in several spots in Bali. The album has been available to be purchased on iTunes or streamed through several digital streaming hosts, and the physical CD has been distributed by Demajors.
