Here is the First Line-Up for Joyland Bali 2024 – Kings of Convenience, Todd Terje, Shintaro Sakamoto and more!
[BALI] Teaser after teaser have left us hanging in the air on who will be invited to the next installment of Joyland Bali 2024. The organizers have finally announced their first ever line-up consisting of foreign musicians who are set to lull you with their best tunes on the Island of Gods. Kings of Convenience, a duo folk hailing from Norway, is set to headline the festival held at Peninsula Island, The Nusa Dua, Bali. For three consecutive days from March 1st to 3rd, the folk duo will also be joined by fellow Norwegian that is DJ Todd Terje; dance legend hailing from France Giles Peterson; former Yura Yura Teikoku’s frontman Shintaro Sakamoto; Chicago based band, Whitney; Tiktok pop sensation The Walters; dream pop duo from Minnesota Vansire as well as pop duo from Los Angeles called Pearl & The Oysters. Besides these musicians, as tradition goes, there will also be recurring stages from previous editions like Shrooms Garden which will be curated by stand-up comic Soleh Solihun. Cinerillaz will see a new collaboration with renowned film festival Jogja-Netpac Asian Film Festival (JAFF) that will curate and display a few titles that you can enjoy during the festivity. Joyland Village will host a slew of F&B businesses that will satisfy your hunger and quench your thirst. While White Peacock Area will provide activities that could be joined by individuals, families, and children.
As Balinese musician, Rudolf Dethu uttered his praise for the festival, “The recurring presence of Joyland in Bali plays a significant role on local music scene by providing them slots to play while also presenting them with performers from national and international scale that could be used as inspirations for Balinese musicians.” In the near future, Joyland Bali 2024 will announce the line-up from Indonesia’s music scene, so you’d better hurry and secure the tickets for this event. Some options including phase 3 regular entry tickets that cost IDR 788.000,- and VIP tickets that cost IDR1.188.000,-.
