Black Flag Joins Slipknot as Latest Hammersonic Line-Up
JAKARTA – The more the merrier and it applies to the latest line-up of Hammersonic Festival 2020. Bringing the tagline of “Rise of The Empire”, the festival has shocked some of the biggest metal heads in the archipelago by announcing Slipknot’s coming to Indonesia. Just now, Hammersonic took their social media to announce another stellar act which is Black Flag. The American hardcore punk band who is popular with their style and logo is confirmed to accompany Slipknot on Hammersonic Festival 2020 which is set to be held on March 27th – 28th, 2020. Although the festival hasn’t announced the venue for their upcoming edition yet, judging from their past celebrations, it is highly likely to be held in Ancol, North of Jakarta. Black Flag who has reunited back in 2013 will bring along their current members which are Greg Ginn, Mikey Vallely, Joseph Noval, Isaias Gil, and Alan Windler (touring member). The band whose discography spans 7 LPs so far is booked and busy with tour dates lined up from December 4th, 2019 up to March, 2020. Their performance at Hammersonic Festival itself is scheduled on March 28th, 2019. 
With the early bird ticket sold out within minutes after the announcement of Slipknot, there is a chance that the same unfortunate thing might happen after Black Flag’s participation was announced. The available ticket as we are writing down this article is Presale 1 category that costs IDR1,250,000 for 2-day pass. There are other categories possible if you happen to be unlucky to grab the Presale 1. There are Presale 2 category that costs IDR1,700,000 and daily on-the-spot ticket that costs IDR1,200,000 (Friday) and IDR800,000 (Saturday). The tickets could be purchased on www.hammersonic.com. Seeing that Slipknot and Black Flag headline the festival, it is time for punk heads and metal heads unite in one area.
