Breaking Fast with Japanese Breakfast Next Week in Jakarta!
JAKARTA (5/9) – It’s one week away before we could see Michelle Zauner a.k.a Japanese Breakfast in all of her glory. Held on May 15th, 2019 at Rossi Musik Fatmawati by a collaboration between Studiorama, Noisewhore, and Pesona Experience, it is time for you to break your fast with Japanese Breakfast (get it?). The musician whose debut album “Psychopomp” received critically acclaimed status will tour across Asia in this month and Jakarta happens to be one of her destinations. This will be the second time she sets foot in Indonesia following her performance at W Hotel Bali. During that time, she also recorded her brand new track “Essentially” which has been recently released through digital platforms. The Korean-American musician managed to blend her soft vocals with an edgy pop arrangement that makes the listeners fell in love with her, especially on her sophomore album “Soft Sounds From Another Planet”. She also showed her hidden skill of filmmaking by directing her own music video on this album.
As the date for her upcoming show in Jakarta grew nearer, the representatives from Studiorama also shared their view upon her coming. “Japanese Breakfast has been on our target list for a while, especially after her second album ‘Soft Sounds From Another Planet’ was released in 2017. We really dig that album”, said Studiorama. Coincidentally held during the month of Ramadan, the visitors should not be worried where and how to break their fast at the venue. Three Buns will serve up some delectable menu for iftar or dinner during the show at their pop-up booth. Jirapah, Jakarta’s local act will open the show for Japanese Breakfast. In the meantime, the tickets which normally cost IDR350,000 can be bought online via KiosTix. There is also a special promo for group package with one free ticket every time you buy 4. On the spot ticket is also available to grab for IDR400,000. We can’t wait to witness her performance next week!
