This First WTF 2019 Line-Up is AH-MAY-ZING!
We The Fest 2019, the annual festival of all things music, fashion, food, and art is back. They have just announced the first line-up this afternoon and guys, they didn’t disappoint. As many have guessed from their previous hints, notable names include Rae Sremmurd, Daniel Caesar, Cigarettes After Sex, Alvvays, DEAN, Yaeji, and many more. Combining Indonesian, UK, US, Korean, and New Zealand musicians, this might be the most diverse line-up from the festival yet.
Scheduled to be held on August 19th, 20th, and 21st 2019 at JIExpo Kemayoran, the festival boasts a plethora of genre from its line-up. There are hip-hop, R&B, electronic, rock, pop, folk, and various blends of music. The complete international line-up includes Rae Sremmurd, 6LACK, Daniel Caesar, Cigarettes After Sex, Yaeji, San Holo, Alvvays, Anna Lunoe, Baynk, Jess Conelly, Rad Museum, and Sabrina Claudio. For those who have waited for Alvvays’ coming in Indonesia must not miss this opportunity, as the Canadian band will be here for the first time.
They also don’t hold back with their local line-up as we see legendary rock band DEWA19 reunites with their former vocalist Ari Lasso and accompanied by Dul Jaelani as the additional keyboardist. Malang’s very own urban-pop outfit, Coldiac as well as Yogyakarta’s indie rock unit, Grrrl Gang will also take the WTF 2019 stage for the first time. Eva Celia, .Feast, Tulus, RAN, Fourtwnty, Glaskaca, Nadin Amizah, Kunto Aji, Duarra, The Panturas, and Kelelawar Malam will perform at the festival which is organized by ISMAYA Live as well.
