“All Your Love” Singer, Jakob Ogawa, Will Hold A Concert in Jakarta
Is anyone familiar with the name Jakob Ogawa? You must be delighted because it was just announced that the singer will hold his first concert in Indonesia this May. Promoted and organized by Lokatara Live, the “All Your Love” singer will perform on May 19th, 2019 at The Pallas, SCBD, Jakarta. The news was announced today during the day of love, and it was met with great responses from Ogawa’s listeners and fans alike. The Norwegian musician who started his career on Soundcloud and Spotify has garnered millions of digital streams with his singles and EP. According to an interview with Interview Magazine, the 21-year-old Oslo based artist said that he recorded all of his music on his own. However, he has recruited a few bandmates to accompany his live performances. In 2018, Jakob Ogawa has put out a new collaboration single called “Velvet Light”. He then followed up the release with another single called “Sunshine Girl”. He is known for his craft in combining R&B inspired beats and melodies with his soulful voice. Most of his songs are slow to mid-tempo songs that cater towards romantic and sultry vibe. He has collaborated with Clairo on one of his song called “You Must Be Sleeping” on “Bedroom Tapes” EP. 
Jakob Ogawa will be the second international musician that Lokatara Live will bring to Jakarta this year. He follows the footstep of funk trio hailing from Houston, Texas – Khruangbin – to perform in our capital city. Last year, the organizer managed to hold concerts for Lamp and Thailand’s crooner, Phum Viphurit. They aim to bring alternative genre for Indonesian music enthusiasts to enjoy. There hasn’t been any announcement regarding the ticket’s price for the concert of the “Let It Pass” singer yet, but keep your eyes glued to their social media @lokataralive to get the latest update. Psst, just for comparison, the ticket for Khruangbin’s live show in Jakarta was sold for IDR290,000 for its presale and IDR379,000 for the normal price and they were sold out fast!
