Bruno Major Broke Our Hearts While Performing 1st Ever Show in Jakarta
JAKARTA (24/10) – Bruno Major first popped up on our radar with his hit single “Easily”. His sentimental approach and heart-crushing lyrics were brought to live during his first ever concert in Jakarta last night. Taking place at Queens Head, Kemang, the venue was packed with the visitors which were mostly females. Becoming one of the stops during his tour in Asia, the tickets for this show has been sold out weeks before it was held. Some of his fans even petitioned for a second show, showing how high the demand was for this UK’s R&B/soul singer. The show was opened by soloist Teddy Adhitya, who performed a rather stripped-down live version of his songs. “In Your Wonderland” and “Let Me” made the crowd sing in unison and the singer himself said that he had been a fan of Bruno Major for the past few years. After finishing his set, the long-awaited performance of Bruno Major started. Donning a black shirt underneath a denim jacket, he played “Wouldn’t Mean A Thing” with an electric guitar.

Upon first note, the audience which was in the front rows were screaming out his name. The enthusiasm didn’t stop there, as Bruno Major showcased his excellent guitar skills and impeccable vocals, we often heard loud screams in return. He played almost all the songs on the album “A Song For Every Moon”. His most notable song “Easily” sent major goosebumps to us, since almost all people in the room sang the song together. He also sang “Just The Same”, “Places We Won’t Walk”, and “Cold Blood” during that very intimate concert. He then ended his set by singing “Old Fashioned” that satisfied the audience who came last night. Dewi Gontha, the President Director Java Festival Production also uttered her excitement saying that the concert went well and applauded the enthusiasm of the audience. For us, it was one of the most memorable concert experience in 2018 with all the singalong, never-ending scream, and Bruno’s delightful voice. He broke our hearts after it ended, just because we’d love to watch his performance again and again!
