LINE Concert Medan Entertained Thousands of People
MEDAN (27/01) – After taking Surabaya by surprise by holding a one kind of event, LINE Concert continued its success story to Medan. Taking place at Medan International Convention Center, LINE Concert Medan took a different route this time by holding their experience area outdoor. As many as 3,500 people who are also loyal LINE users gathered during the event which included the performances from Raisa, Kahitna, Glenn Fredly and Sheila on 7. For more than three hours, the audience were entertained with the tunes from Indonesia’s biggest pop stars. These names were the results of the interactive survey that LINE Concert spread to its users. They helped to decide which guest stars and which city should LINE Concert goes next. This rare feature of a concert that felt so personal was possible due to LINE’s commitment to bridge the gap between its users. “We want to create a unique concert experience that not only entertains our users, but that also feels personal to them,” explained Brian Lee, Senior Director of Global Communications at LINE Plus Corporation. “This is in line with our mission of ‘Closing the Distance,’ as we also believe that music is a universal language that can draw people closer.”
On the Medan edition, Raisa and Sheila On 7 collaborated to sing the band’s classic hit “Kisah Klasik Untuk Masa Depan” that generated a stream of nostalgia for the onlookers. Besides the music concert as the main appeal, the event also hosted various LINE popular features that you could also find on the app. There were LINE Today, LINE Live, LINE Square, and LINE stickers incorporated into the music performances. As usual, there was also the iconic huge Brown doll which you could take picture with. The event set record by selling out the entire ticket on its first week of sale for Brown VIP and the rest in less than a month.
