Soundrenaline 2017 First Line Up AnnouncementSoundrenaline Returns in 2017 with The First Line-Up Announcement!

One of the biggest music festival in Indonesia, Soundrenaline, returns in 2017 with the first line-up announcement. Cited from Soundrenaline official website, local and international acts will once again grace the stages at Garuda Wisnu Kencana, Bali on 9 – 10 September 2017. Among the line up from the first phase, JET become the first and only international act that have been confirmed. The Australian rockers gained fame in the early 2000 for their hit singles “Look What You’ve Done” and “Are You Gonna Be My Girl”. In 2012, the band was reportedly fallen apart but later in 2016 they announced that they’re getting back together. Recently, JET have released a new single called “My Name Is Thunder” featuring The Bloody Beetroots. Much to the listeners’ surprise, it is an electronic driven song with a little rock flair. Welp, we do not know it this is a good sign or not since it’s the band’s first ever single in 7 years. Other than JET, recurring local acts are set to perform on Soundrenaline 2017, and they are Sheila On 7, Burgerkill, Kotak, Tulus, Andien, Payung Teduh, Stars and Rabbit, Kelompok Penerbang Rocket, HMGNC, Bottlesmoker, Elephant Kind and Bali’s own musician Lolot.

A new name emerged on the line up and it belongs to a newcomer in music scene, Rendy Pandugo. The soloist whose songs are often compared to American rock musician, John Mayer, will perform at his first ever Soundrenaline stage this year. Just like previous editions, a dedicated theme has been set for the festival and this time it is “United We Loud”. The presale ticket for the festival can already be purchased through Kiostix. There is one day pass ticket sold for IDR200,000 and 2-day pass ticket sold for IDR250,000. In the following weeks, there will be more acts to be announced. Last year, Soundrenaline managed to attract 100,000 crowd and invited 33 musicians. This year’s festival is hoped to be bigger and better than the last, see you in Bali!
