Youth Creative Exhibition Has Been Successfully Held by RJF 2017 + Confirmed Line-Up
To make the celebration of holy month of Ramadhan more festive like and to welcome The 7th Ramadhan Jazz Festival 2017, Remaja Islam Masjid Cut Meutia (RICMA) held Youth Creative Exhibition on 3 June 2017 at Green Corner, Pejaten, Jakarta. This event is included in the series of Ramadhan Jazz Festival in which the main event will be held on 9-10 June 2017 at Masjid Cut Meutia, Menteng, Jakarta. Youth Creative Exhibition hosts various activities from 4PM in the afternoon onward. There was art exhibition from multiple communities, traditional dance performance, and band audition whose winner will be honored to perform during the main event. In the afternoon, the band who auditioned showed their skills and music upon the judges which were Handy from Soulvibe, Abby Gallaby, and Niko Al- Hakim “Ops”. As the iftar session came, soon after Teddy Adhitya appeared on the stage with his songs taken from his debut album. There was also Indonesian Red Cross Society that opened booth to encourage donation from the visitors to help them renovate school for the underprivileged.

“Ramadhan Jazz Festival is a social activity which is arranged in the form of music festival with the element of da’wah in it. I am happy and proud to be a part of Ramadhan Jazz Festival. There is a sense of satisfaction which differs each time we hold Ramadhan Jazz Festival annually. I learn a lot from this and feel that the help from Allah SWT is real,” utters Derisman Nugraha the Project Officer of The 7th Ramadhan Jazz Festival 2017. On another chance, Arethusa Salsabila who was in charge of holding “Youth Creative Exhibition”, the pre-event of RJF said, “Our goals that this activity could become a platform for the youth to pour their creative ideas and Alhamdulillah everything went well. The fun and enthusiasm from the visitors gave us fulfillment. Hopefully, this activity would give an impact for the society.” As we’re writing this news, the confirmed line up for the main event of Ramadhan Jazz Festival 2017 are Soulvibe, Teddy Adhitya, Chikita Fawzi, Mondo Gascaro, Tiyo Alibasjah & Karim Suweileh, Andre Dinuth, and Fariz RM Kwartet.
