From Surabaya to The World: Thee Marloes Present Di Hotel Malibu Showcase
[SURABAYA] – Soul pop trio hailing from Surabaya, Thee Marloes, is ready to hold Di Hotel Malibu Showcase upon spectacles in Surabaya and Jakarta. They first captured the attention of music lovers with their debut album “Perak” back in 2024. In 2026, the band released their sophomore album “Di Hotel Malibu” which received warm welcome from past and present listeners. From then on, there has been no stopping for Natassya Sianturi (vocal, keyboard), Sinatrya Dharaka (guitar), and Tommy Satwick (drum) as they continue winning over listeners around the world.
Signed to Big Crown Records, headquartered in the United States, Thee Marloes have toured extensively across North America in support of “Di Hotel Malibu”, performing in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto, Washington, D.C., and Montreal. After wrapping up their North American tour a while ago, the trio is ready to head back home with passion to bring tunes from their latest album live to their friends and fellow Indonesians.
“Di Hotel Malibu” showcase will be held in two cities: their home turf of Surabaya and Jakarta. The band is set to play the entire track list from “Di Hotel Malibu” as well as beloved numbers from “Perak” album. Bojakrama will host the Surabaya’s stop of this showcase which takes place at Balai Sahabat Surabaya on August 8th, 2026. While their showcase in Jakarta will be organized by People of The Right Project on August 15th, 2026.
Raking up millions of listeners with their songs, the trio humbly uttered their longing to play at their homebase. “We’ve been waiting for this moment as we were wrapping up our album recording back then. After touring across North America, we’ll finally be able to play these songs from “Di Hotel Malibu” in our turf. We can’t wait to meet our friends back home,” they said.
“Di Hotel Malibu” showcases Thee Marloes’ take on soul genre as they explored their roots as Indonesian. The album contains tribute to their heritage with track like “Boru” that explains Natasya’s Batak lineage, while at the same time, balancing it with catchy soulful tracks like “I’d Be Lost” or “I’m Just A Girl” which enamored the international crowd. The album is a testament that no matter how far Thee Marloes go in the global music industry, they always find a way to bring a little flavor from home to the global audience.
