Plainsong Live To Host Men I Trust’ Concert in Jakarta!
[JAKARTA] Canadian dreamy trio, Men I Trust, has added Jakarta as one of their stop for upcoming Asia – Oceania tour in 2023. Comprised of Dragos Chiriac (keyboard), Jessy Caron (bass), and Emmanuelle Proulx (vocal), the Montreal based indie rock band have established a name of themselves in a truly independent/indie spirit. Men I Trust are known to create their own albums and music videos by themselves, while the promotion for their work has grown organically without the push of a major label or a press company. They first made wave with their single “Lauren” which was launched in 2016 with an iconic music video featuring a girl in a red shirt cycling her way through a suburb area. The band have made numerous hits since then, while maintaining their chill, downtempo, and melancholic melodies and vocal. COVID-19 pandemic didn’t hold them back as Men I Trust made their names afloat by releasing two albums: Forever Live Sessions (2020) that highlights their lovely live session and Untourable Album (2021) which includes songs that they have never performed on tour.
They are slated to perform in Jakarta on Tuesday – March 14th, 2023 at Basketball Hall Senayan Gelora Bung Karno Stadium Complex. Besides Indonesia, the trio are scheduled to perform in Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and their home country of Canada. The ticket for Men I Trust concert in Jakarta starts from IDR400,000 for Tribune category and IDR500.000 for Festival category. This marks the second international artists brought by Plainsong Live after they announced FKJ’s show earlier this month. The two acts will act as appetizers before Joyland 2023 in Bali arrives.
