Scottish Rockers, Travis, Added to We The Fest 2019’s Latest Line-Up
Did you think that We The Fest 2019 has finished announcing their line-up? You are dead wrong because the annual music festival situated in Jakarta has some names on their sleeves. It was just announced that veteran Scottish rockers, Travis, will be joining the rest of the line-up at We The Fest 2019. The band who is famous for hit singles like “Closer”, “Sing”, “Writing To Reach You”, or “Re-Offender” emerged in the late ’90s during the height of Britpop wave. The outfit which is comprised of Fran Healy, Dougie Payne, Andy Dunlop, and Neil Primrose captured the hearts of the listeners with their unique song titles and endearing melodies. They will set foot for the first time in Indonesia during We The Fest 2019 that will happen on July 19th – 21st at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. Travis will headline the festival on day 2 as WTF 2019 has also announced its daily schedule. Rae Sremmurd will headline the festival on the first day, while Troye Sivan will close out the festival on day 3.
A total of 24 international performers including Alvvays, Anne-Marie, Bazzi, Cashmere Cat, Cigarettes After Sex, Daniel Caesar, DEAN, Joji, Sabrina Claudio, Warpaint, and Yaeji are ready to entertain Indonesia’s music and festival enthusiasts. The festival will not only gather the local fans as they have reportedly partnered with several foreign ticketing partners. While Travis takes the main spot at Day 2 of the festival, local musicians like Ardhito Pramono, Asteriska, Heidi, Hindia, Ify Alyssa, Kurosuke, Tanayu, and Tuan Tiga Belas are ready to warm you up with their own unique tunes. This new local line-up will complete the existing performers which comprised of Barasuara, Dewa 19 feat. Ari Lasso & Dul Jaelani, Dipha Barus, RAN, Tulus, .Feast, Dekat, Eva Celia, Kunto Aji, Nadin Amizah, Pamungkas, Sore, and The Adams.
