The Sounds Project Vol.4 Announced First Line-Up with Kunto Aji and More!
JAKARTA – Annual music festival The Sounds Project has reached its fourth installment this year. Yesterday, the festival took their social media to announce their first line-up that consists of Indonesia’s finest musicians. Slated to be held on March 22nd and 23rd at Kuningan City Ballroom, the event will hosts performances from Kunto Aji, .Feast, Danilla, Kurosuke, The Cat Police, Reality Club, and Jason Ranti. Kunto Aji stunned the music enthusiasts in 2018 with his latest album “Mantra Mantra” which generated hits like “Konon Katanya” or “Topik Semalam”. While .Feast gathered attention everywhere with their politics rich mini-album “Beberapa Orang Memaafkan”. The first line-up might already sound familiar to you except Kurosuke. The name is a one-man band that consists of Christianto Ario Wibowo who is also the frontman of Jakarta’s alternative band, Anomalyst. His solo endeavor as Kurosuke was also listed as the line-up of the 9th Music Gallery. Kurosuke was also mentioned by Phum Viphurit as an Indonesian act that he paid attention to, during an interview held at Soundrenaline 2018.
These names offer various genre on the festival making The Sounds Project Vol.4 more colorful. Using the tagline “Music Over Matter”, the festival has already sold its early bird tickets which costs IDR80,000. The current tickets category that is being sold is Daily Pass and 2-Day Pass. The daily pass ticket costs IDR150,000 while the 2-day pass ticket costs IDR250,000.
