Marijannah & Potion Are Ready to Rock Jakarta Next Week!
Not enough doom metal in your life? Then Marijannah and Potion are ready to rock your night with a performance on 12 July 2018. Brought to you by Six Thirty Recordings, Marijannah from Singapore and Potion from Australia are slated to take over Rossi Musik Fatmawati. Marijannah are a new metal group founded in Singapore and they have released an album titled “Till Marijannah” via a German record label, Pink Tank Records. The album received warm welcome from fans and critics alike, making them a great addition to Singaporean metal scene. Albeit new, the band was founded by old faces namely Nicholas Wong (drum/vocal) who was a former member of pop-punk band, The Caulfield Cult and Rasyid Juraimi (guitar) who is a member of Wormrot. With Wormrot, Rasyid has performed on The Audiotree Session as well as Glastonbury Festival. Together with other two members, they formed Marijannah whose set could be enjoyed next week.

Potion are even more new to the metal scene and they have released four singles in total. The Aussie natives are known for incorporating other genres besides their stone rock/doom metal root. Their first two singles were released in a form of cassette tape that lasts for 17 minutes! The songs in this album include “Seven Sorcerers” and “Gravemaker”. They became more productive recently by releasing two singles “Dead Mountain” and “Women of The Wand”. Both works from Marijannah and POTION could be enjoyed digitally on Bandcamp. Their performances in Jakarta will be opened by local acts Avhath and Kief from Jakarta, as well as Fuzzy, I from Bandung. This will be the last show held by 630 Recordings for its mid-year agenda in 2018. Both bands will continue their tour to Solo, Bandung, Malaysia, and Singapore. The ticket for this show is available to be purchased via Frekuensi Antara or Eventevent’s app.
