Sugiarto Irine Lulls You Into Daydream with “Besok-Besok”
Sugiarto Irine had a hell of a year in 2017 with her participation on Folk Music Festival 2017 and Soundrenaline. The singer and soloist who is now residing in Samarinda celebrates her one year affair with the release of new song called “Besok-Besok”. First of all, we would like to suggest you to listen to the song with a cup of warm coffee on the side. Now let’s begin. “Besok-Besok” is the first release from Irine with a full band format. The single was previously released last year which was recorded at her own bedroom with acoustic guitar only. Now the new arrangement makes this song sounds a lot more impressive. The addition of swing, retro pop ambience, clearer sounding vocals on the new version of “Besok-Besok” could become a step from the singer to enter the professional recording artist arena. There are also spoken dialog that you could find on the song as well as solo melodica play by Irine herself. It’s a well rounded song compared to its original version and we seriously need our daily dose of Sugiarto Irine right now. The song contains a message that no matter how powerful we are, time still becomes the element that could weaken us.
Being released independently, she asked several musicians to accompany her as seasonal players. There are Muhamad Ranaldi Yamin (bassist), Dennis Berhan (guitar), Johan Bagus Triwidodo (keyboard) and Wijaya Pambudi (drum/percussion). The new version of “Besok-Besok” was re-arranged by Yono Eliani, produced by Muhamad Ranaldi Yamin and recorded on December 2017 at Widi Studio by Wijaya Pambudi. While Elmo Ramadhan was in charge of mixing and mastering. The single can be listened through www.budearto.com and it will be released on digital streaming services in the future. This track will become the stepping stone toward Sugiarto Irine’s mini album which is planned to be released on April 2018. With the release of this single, she also wants to send her gratitude towards the warm welcome she received after moving to Samarinda. Hopefully she could play on more stages this year to present heartwarming sounds that touch your souls. Listen to “Besok-Besok” here.
