Watch The Atmospheric Video of Puti Chitara for “Gelembung Kaca”
Puti Chitara, the soloist who has just released a single called “Gelembung Kaca” revealed a visual for the song a while ago. On 6 February 2018, the singer unveiled the music video on her official Youtube channel. This becomes an exciting journey for the singer as she prepares for the birth of her firstborn. The single is also the first collaboration from Puti Chitara with the vocalist of Efek Rumah Kaca, Cholil Mahmud. The lyrics video which showcases an illustration from Julia Intan, is now interpreted differently by director Angga Okto. Shapna Prani was chosen as the main lead of “Gelembung Kaca” video and she presents a woman who dances around the room by herself. Angga Okto did not work alone to make this video as Danny Pradana took the role of a producer for this visual. The video features a combination of lightings, backgrounds, wardrobe changes, and dramatic make-up to enhance the overall feel of the video. The model oozes out a sensual yet vulnerable feeling through her dances, gaze, and motion.
This project also involved Ariesta Marshelina as wardrobe coordinator, Ridha SW as make-up artist, Andyan P. Wicaksono as art director and Sanggar Kemuning as plantery. The director explains that he tried to interpret the lyrics of the song through the model’s motion. Moreover, the single is the first attempt from Puti Chitara for her third album which is planned to be released this year. She also has another plan to record a documentary video that shows the process of making this song. Beforehand, the Puti Chitara has released two studio albums called “Sarsaparilla Dream” (2014) and “Goodnight” (2017). She released music videos as well for “Sarsaparilla Dream”, “Universe”, “Snow In Summer” and “Stratosphere”. Check out her latest music video for “Gelembung Kaca” below.
