Ubud Food Festival (UFF 2018) Teams Up with ABC to Present New Exciting Programs!
Ubud Food Festival has long been the culinary festival that attracted hundreds of visitors each year. In 2018, UFF which will be held on 13 – 15 April 2018 has prepared a slew of surprises under its sleeve. As a starter, they announce their partnership with ABC, Indonesia’s favorite food and beverage brand that has become the staple of Indonesian households. Together, they create various programs throughout the event like discussion, cooking demo, special event, workshop, culinary trip, film screening and music performances. “The main purpose of Ubud Food Festival is to introduce the uniquely remarkable and delicious food of Indonesia. ABC, as a product of this nation, has the same purpose to popularize various culinary heritage of Indonesia. The same vision between these two brands was the main reason why we became a presenting partner for UFF 2018,” explained Dhiren Amin, Head of Marketing from Southeast Asia at Kraft Heinz ABC. As mentioned before, ABC’s most loved products like soy sauce, chilli sauce, syrup, canned food have always inserted Indonesia’s tradition in it.
Besides their planned programs, UFF 2018 will see several renown names in Indonesia’s culinary to become the guests or speakers on the programs. Sisca Soewitomo will present for the third time in a row at UFF 2018 by bringing her signature home cooked meals of Indonesia. Celebrity chef and former judge of Masterchef Indonesia, Rinrin Marinka will greet the culinary enthusiasts at UFF 2018 as well. She has a long list of experience in exposing Indonesian culinary through her programs at international channel, Asian Food Channel. The one of a kind Andrian Ishak from Namaaz Dining will show you how to break the rules and boundaries of culinary world with his extraordinary take on dining experience. He is one of the professional chef in Indonesia who puts molecular gastronomy as his main forte. From abroad, Sri Lankan chef, Rishi Naleendra who is known for his Michelin starred restaurant, Cheek Jowl, will be there. Other Michelin star awardee, Sam Aisbett from Singapore and Jun Lee from South Korea will show the audience their craft. Using the theme “Generasi Inovasi’, the annual culinary event will present approximately 100 speakers from culinary experts, chefs, and practitioners.
