We The Fest 2018 First Line-Up Has Arrived and It’s Bigger Than Ever!
JAKARTA (01/07) – ISMAYA Live bring their A game this time with We The Fest 2018, the summer music festival which will return in July has reportedly announced their first set of performers. It was revealed earlier that the festival will return a month in advance compared to their usual affairs which happened in August before. For three consecutive days from 20 – 22 July 2018, We The Fest 2018 will present a slew of names in music that will guarantee attract the attention from music enthusiasts everywhere. First up, there is soul/pop jazz group from Indonesia, Maliq & D’essentials which will headline WTF 2018. Afterwards, big names from abroad bombarded the line-up. There are Petit Biscuits, Moon Boots, Louis The Child and ODESZA that represent the electronic genre. These names have proved to be a force in reckoned with, by utilizing their unique approach to electronic music. Rock music couldn’t be left behind so there are Alt-J and The Neigbourhood to fill in the void. Alt-J have previously performed in Indonesia by appearing at Bestival Bali 2017. While it will be the first time for American rock band, The Neighbourhood to perform in the country.
R&B/soul duo, HONNE will once again delight their fans in Indonesia after their much loved performance in 2017 at 7th Music Gallery. British heartthrob slash singer/songwriter, James Bay will set your mood right with his lovely tunes. As for the most shocking news came from the appearance of current pop princess, Lorde in this annual music festival. The New Zealand songstress will bring her “Melodrama” tunes for the audience of WTF 2018 to enjoy.
