ISMAYA Live Bring Back We The Fest (WTF) 2018 in July!
ISMAYA Live has announced the dates set for their annual music festival in 2018, We The Fest (WTF), on the after movie of last year’s edition. In 2017, we saw the first time that We The Fest was held at the huge space of JIExpo Kemayoran. There were more than 50,000 spectators during the three-day affair and it was a new record for the festival that started out in 2014. Indonesian president, Joko Widodo even had the chance to join the festivity as he attended the festival to see what the buzz was all about. On the official after movie created by MAIKA Collective, we could relive the experience of the last year’s festival that includes performances from Phoenix, Big Sean, G-Eazy, Kodaline, and The Kooks as the main headline. There are other 57 talents in total that graced the three stages of We The Fest including Indonesia’s very own musicians like Elephant Kind, Ramengvrl, Mocca, Payung Teduh, Barasuara, Scaller, Indische Party, Mondo Gascaro, Monkey to Millionaire and many more. Let’s also not forget the stellar performances from Dua Lipa, Charli XCX, Epik High, Shura, LANY, and more names that we could not mention one by one, or else this page will be filled with musicians’ names.
The festival will return on 20 – 22 July 2018, boasting another three-day affair for festival goers to enjoy. In 2017 there are various interactive zones which was introduced to the audience and there were Art Village by KitKat, Eats & Beats by Fruit Tea, Games Zone by Mizone, Fashion District by H&M, WTF Market by UrbanGigs, and WTF Cinema Club. The festival comes back a month earlier than their last year’s schedule which happened in August. They also hint about the first phase of line-up that will be announced soon.
