Spend Joyful Christmas with Asteriska’s Single “Hallelujah, It’s Christmas”
Singer-songwriter, Asteriska who is also known as a part of Barasura has released a single during christmas titled “Hallelujah, It’s Christmas”. The song was completed with the help of Gerald Situmorang (also from Barasuara) who was taking on the role of producer. Written and composed by Astersika herself, the song is a cheerful number that could be an anthem during your holidays. The single is released prior to Asteriska’s sophomore album that is planned to be revealed in 2018. Her upcoming album will be produced by Gerald Situmorang as well. Throgh a press release, she hopes this song to be able to bring out the holiday spirit and gives the listeners a bit of holiday warmth.
Beforehand, the singer who loves to travel has released her solo debut album “Distance” in 2015 and her second album is slated to be released early next year. It will be a full lenght album which showcases the singer’s individual style which is different from her role in Barasuara. The album was recorded in the span of four years from 2013 to 2017 at Sum It Studio by Dimas Pradipta and Studio Steffiano. While for this song, she cited the participation of instrument players like Haris Pranowo (piano), Frida Tumakaka ( Flute), Dittopercussion (Percussions), Kevin Yosua (Double Bass), Rieke Astari (Accordion) and Gerald Situmorang (MIDI programming).
