Laneway Fest Singapore 2018 Announce New Line-Up Including HEALS and many more!
Last year, St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival Singapore were honored to give two Indonesian bands, Stars and Rabbit and Bottlesmoker a chance to perform at the festival. This year, another act from Indonesia is invited to come along and it is no other than HEALS. The band hailing from Bandung was announced as one of the additional line-up of the festival yesterday, alongside few more performers from across Asia. Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines each has representatives on the annual festival held at The Meadow, Garden By The Bay. Besides HEALS, there are Alextbh, Amateur Takes Control, MAS1A, Obedient Wives Club, THELIONCITYBOY, The Ransom Collective and Tim De Cotta. These musicians have varying genres that will make Laneway Singapore 2018 more colorful and rich. From pop, rock, alternative, folk, down to electronic, these musicians are ready to entertain the visitors of Laneway in its eight edition. HEALS for example, have triumphed over Indonesia’s indie scene with their album “Spectrum” that fuses several genres like shoegaze, nu gaze and alternative rock sound with heavy guitar distortion as their forte. Their coming to Laneway Singapore will be their second visit to the country after they performed at Rocking The Region Festival back in March.
Beforehand, Laneway Singapore has announced its main line-up that includes Aldous Harding, Amy Shark, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Billie Eilish, Bonobo, Father John Misty, Loyle Carner, Mac DeMarco, Moses Sumney , Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Slowdive, Sylvan Esso, The Internet, The War On Drugs and Wolf Alice. With the addition of the line that has just been announced, Laneway Festival Singapore 2018 promise a one-of-a-kind festival experience for music enthusiasts in Singapore as well as Southeast Asia.
