Australian electronic piece, Miami Horror, has been reportedly booked for two forthcoming shows in Indonesia. On November 24th which falls on Friday, the band which started their career since 2007 will play their DJ set upon the beautiful poolside view of Canggu’s hottest bar, The Lawn. The establishment that has become a rave among culinary and travel enthusiasts in Bali will host the party from 4PM. As stated on The Lawn’s website, the ticket for this relatively small gig is currently on sale for IDR200,000 per package. It already includes first drink and they also serve another exciting offer for you to quench your thirst. Miami Horror will play the tracks from their two studio albums “Illumination” (2010) and “All Possible Futures” (2015). They would also play their newest EP “The Shapes” that sees the band go into a heavier electronic sounding tunes.
The next day, the band won’t stop and continue their show in Indonesia by making a stop in Bandung. They will play their DJ set on 25 November 2017 at Kiri Social Bar. The bar is a newly opened establishment, located at Jl. Sumur Bandung No.14. It previously hosted other equally exciting party from Roche Musique’s rosters like Cezaire, Zimmer and Kartell. Miami Horror was formed by Benjamin Plant as the producer and DJ of the band. He then added members to make the project a full electronic band which we know now. In late 2016, Aaron Shanahan left the band leaving the other four to continue the project. The band are mostly known for their hit songs like “I Look to You” featuring Kimbra, or other songs like “Sometimes” or “All It Ever Was” which were featured into two compilation album for two popular console games’ soundtracks. They have performed in Indonesia circa 2014 on We The Fest.
