Malaysia’s Very Own Atilia Haron Will Grace IFI’s Stage “Supersonik #21” for Her Album Tour
You might not know her name or her songs, but you must recognize her from several features which involve big names like Maliq & D’essentials or SORE. Atilia Haron is a Malaysian singer and the daughter of renown singer, Salamiah Hassan. Inheriting her mother’s keen sense of music, Atilia Haron has built her music career in Malaysia by making studio album since 2007 and now she has launched her third album called “N°3”. The singer, songwriter, and producer will present a showcase in conjunction with an event held by IFI Jakarta and SRM called “Supersonik #21” on Saturday, 11 November 2017. Back in 2013, she also held a showcase to promote her second album “Indah” in which Maliq & D’essentials and SORE participated in. Her third record took three years in the making and we could still feel a strong pop jazz presence in her music. Containing 9 songs in total, the album has 2 songs in English and 7 songs in Bahasa or Melayu. Atilia also did three covers of popular songs like “Bahagiaku” which was made famous by Tiwu Rayie, “No Fruits for Today” by Sore, and “Untuk Perempuan Yang Sedang Dalam Pelukan” by Payung Teduh.
The 43-year-old musician also further got involved in the making of this album by taking the role executive publisher. Atilia Haron won’t be alone in the concert since SORE with their acoustic format will open her set beforehand. The acoustic format of Sore or can be called as “Setengah Sore” will literally perform during afternoon since the concert commences at 4 PM. We hope to see both of them perform “Silly Little Thing”, a collaboration from Sore and Atilia Haron which was included in Sore’s EP “Sombreros Kiddos” in 2011. To watch the concert for free, you could register yourself to reserve your seat at srmdistributions@gmail.com. “N°3” by Atilia Haron distributed by WM Malaysia and Mujik Production has been available to be streamed on digital outlets like Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and many more.
