Rock N Roll Mafia Launch Collaboration with Petra Sihombing “Intoxicated”
It takes two to tango and it definitely takes two parties like Rock N Roll Mafia and Petra Sihombing to create a great track called “Intoxicated”. On the press release, RNRM explained how they met and it started with an encounter at Wierd Mansion, a studio belongs to J. Mono and the brief moment made the two agreed on a collaboration. In this new single, RNRM presents a bubblier electronic sound compared to what they did on previous album “Prodigal” or previous single. It presents a new color from the Bandung’s based electronic band with Petra’s powerful vocals combined. The singer showcases his ability although we can clearly listen to auto-tune and vocal effect applied on his gorgeous voice, to make it more electronic sounding perhaps. This track is quirky, it offers a changing pace in the middle, and goes into a groovy direction towards the end.
Hendra Jaya Putra composed this song with Rama in charge of its editing process, together they mixed and mastered this song, while J. Mono filled in the rhythm guitar position. Petra participated in the songwriting process, with the guideline from Ykha Amelz, RNRM’s frequent collaborator and a half of Hendra Jaya Putra. With such an upbeat mood, “Intoxicated” explains about a burst of feeling, that never been felt before. A new kind of happiness that explodes on top of the highest peak, it creates a positive energy and makes everything looks spectacular.
