POND Concert in JakartaWhat To Expect from Pond’s Concert Live in Jakarta?

Since its initial announcement of POND‘s upcoming concert in Jakarta last September by Sonic Live Asia in collaboration with Stub Hub Indonesia, we’ve been patiently waiting for these psychedelic act to play their music here. Debuting with “Psychedelic Mango” in 2009 and deemed as the side project of Tame Impala, POND are actively churning out psychedelic rock tunes whether it’s on their native land of Australia, or festival across the ocean in the US, Europe and Asia. Their coming to Indonesia with the concert on 26 November 2017 at The Pallas SCBD is their first time ever to come here as a band. It is part of their Asia Tour 2017 to promote their latest album “The Weather”. This will be the third time for Nick Allbrook and Jay Watson to visit Indonesia since they have held a gig here twice as the active members of Tame Impala. The band has a whopping seven albums as of now, and some of the discographies got positive feedbacks like “Man It Feels Like Space Again” or “Hobo Rocket”.

Their latest album was produced by Kevin Parker who used to be an active member of POND but decided to work behind the scene. “POND is one of our wishlist and psychedelic rock music enthusiasts, we are glad that we could accommodate POND’s fans,” said Celestinus Febrianto as one of the representative from Sonic Live Asia. You can expect various songs from their huge collection of songs, but you will mostly be entertained with the songs from “The Weather”. If the album is included in your playlist and are on a heavy rotation, don’t wait too long to cop the ticket for their forthcoming concert. You can now purchase the ticket online with a cheaper price as much as IDR650,000 via Stubhub.id and if you want to change your mind at last minute, you can get the ticket on the spot for IDR800,000.
