Bestival Bali 2017 Serves Various Genres Music Festival in The Land of Gods!
If you ever heard about Bestival, it is highly possible that you’ll be reminded with the music festival in Britain. This year, the event is imported to Indonesia and the world class music festival are ready to entertain its enthusiasts with Bestival Bali 2017. For the first time ever, the event will be held from 30 September to 1 October 2017 at Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, Bali. Bestival Bali are ready to serve you with various music genres like indie, hip hop. dance, disco, reggae and rock. “In Indonesia, there are many huge music festivals but with one genre like EDM, jazz, or rock and we fill in the space by giving Bestival a chance to create something different,” said Phil Beaven as the Operation Manager Bestival Asia at Artotel Thamrin, Central Jakarta on Friday, 8 September 2017. Prior to the main event, a pre-event party was held as well as the press conference to give the audience a little glimpse of what Bestival Bali have to offer.
The organizer choose Bali as the host of their first ever festival in Indonesia with many reasons. Phil Beaven himself also stated that Bali has the perfect climate, weather and vibe to host the event. Its tropical island feel could enhance the experience of attending a music concert. To make it more seamless, Bestival Bali also provide a digital platform in the form of mobile application. This application can be downloaded for free on your smartphone through AppStore or PlayStore called “Bestival 2017”. It contains ticket, news, updates, line-up and various tidbits regarding the event. The tickets are sold in four different categories, from VIP Seating (IDR 6,600,000), VIP Standing (IDR 6,000,000), Student Ticket (IDR 1,350,000), and 2 day pass regular (IDR 2,700,000).
The line-up for the event has been announced and it consists of local and international line up like ALT J, Rudimental, Pendulum, De La Soul, George Clinton Parliament Funkadelic, Purity Ring, The Cuban Brothers, Bag Raiders, Kilter, Colour Castle, Rob Da Bank, Stars and Rabbit, Ras Muhamad and many more. During the pre-event party there were live performances from Bergas (Scrubs + Pleasure), Agrikulture, Anton & Hogi Wirjono, David J, and Django.
