Enter Tropical Fiesta with Kickfest XI Chapter Malang!
(8/3) KICKFEST Indonesia in collaboration with Dyandra Promosindo and KICK Malang will hold the eleventh installment of KICKFEST in Malang from 4 to 6 August 2017. Held at Lapangan Rampal Malang, this year’s theme for Kickfest has totally changed from previous editions which is “Tropical Fiesta”. Through a press conference held at Kafe Komika, Dani, representative from KICKFEST Bandung explained that Kickfest XI in Malang have some exciting programs that are ready to entertain the visitors. “This year we will activate and become more engaged with communities in Malang. Last year, we did not pay attention too much with community. Based on survey done by KICK Malang, it turns out that communities here are pretty much active so we decided to relive it,” said Dani. KICKFEST XI this year will be held in three cities starting from Malang, Yogyakarta on 29 September – 1 October and will end in Bandung on 3 – 5 November 2017.
Renown brands like Screamous, Washpish Denim, RSCH, Flashy, Starcross, Inspired, Zeroheroes will present at KICKFEST XI in Malang. There is an increase of Malang’s local brands as much as 20% this year with 25 brands participate on the festival. In total there are 95 fashion brands, and 20 food and beverage tenants that will occupy a total area of 11,475 square meters. There is a special program called “Happy Hour” held from 11 AM – 15 PM everyday, in which the visitors would be able to purchase special items for IDR50,000 only. Simpati as the official sponsor of KICKFEST XI, also promote their cashless payment through t-cash. T-Cash users will enjoy a lot of privileges including further price cut as much as 20% in every tenants and cashback reward until 50%. Those who do not have their t-cash activated will be able to activate on the spot.
Roughly 37,000 visitors attended the festival last year, and the organizer target 40,000 visitors to attend the 11th edition of KICKFEST. Besides fashion and F&B tenants, there will also two stages prepared for national and local musicians. Fourtwenty will grace the stage on 4 August 2017, Souljah will perform on the next day and Navicula are scheduled to perform on the last day. Christabel Annora, Coldiac, SATCF, Extreme Decay, Hand of Hope, Youngster City Rockers, and many more will also entertain the visitors as the feel the experience of shopping, dining, and joining workshop and communities exhibition.
