BANKS Announces Cancellation for Her Tour Across Asia

Songstress BANKS, has announced her Asia tour dates a while ago that included shows at South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. Few hours ago, it has been reported that the singer announced cancellation for her Asia tour including her scheduled gig at The Establishment, Jakarta which is promoted by ISMAYA Live. The official statement from her management stated an unforeseen circumstances as the reason behind the cancellation. For those who have bought the tickets for her Jakarta’s shows will be refunded in full. Those who bought online from Loket will be contacted soon, and those who bought them offline will be refunded at points of their purchase. Secret Sounds, the promoter for her concert in Singapore also announced the sad news, while shortly after announcing a concert from Brooklyn based ambient pop group, Cigarettes After Sex on 17 August 2017. It is also stated that the management of BANKS hope to reschedule her tour dates as soon as possible, and hopefully she will be able to visit here soon.

The singer whose real name is Jillian Rose Banks, has revealed her latest full-length album “The Altar” late last year to a positive review from fans and critics. She made a breakthrough after revealing her debut EP “Fall Over” and releasing her debut full album “Goddess” in 2014. Her planned gig in Indonesia this year is her second visit to the country after making an appearance at We The Fest 2014. However, it seems like we’re unfortunate enough to receive the no-show news. Her scheduled gigs in Australia following her Asia tour still reportedly remain unchanged. Whatever, you can still play her excellent albums in a row to console you. Stream “The Altar” here and fingers crossed that there is no bad thing happening to BANKS.
