Listen to The Porno New Single “Hidden Language” from Upcoming “Moon EP”
The Porno, a band formed in 2004 consisting of Pandu Fuzztoni, Yanu Fuadi, Novianto Ariprabowo, and Amy Amanda are gearing up for their upcoming album under a relatively new record label, O Pamela Recording. The album which is an extended play called “Moon” is said to be revealed very soon, but first The Porno uploaded their first single off the album through the Soundcloud of O Pamela Recording. The track called “Hidden Language” is a one minute and forty second long tune that emphasize on The Porno’s bass and drums which remind us once again that these guys embody post punk vibe. Pandu and Amy vocals fuse together in “Hidden Language” and if you closely pay attention to the lyrics, you will get a subtle hint at some sexual innuendos they put here and there. It also comes with a minimalist artwork with a silhouette of a woman.
Moreover, The Porno have released a maxi single under O Pamela Recording in a form of CD-R. It is titled “Retard” and filled with some materials from their B-sides as well as demo songs. On this record, The Porno was still with their old formation with vocalist Daniel Hangga on board. Amy Amanda has not joined the band yet and Pandu was not in charge of vocal, so you could hear the early sound of the band in this album. Meanwhile, Pandu Fuzztoni the frontman of this band is also busy with his another band, Morfem who have released “Dramaturgi Underground” album and shot a music video for one of their song during Thursday Noise Vol.11 last week.
