Froothie Toothie Rekords Are Ready to Hold “Estafet Ceria”
One thing that crosses your mind when you read the title might be a sport event. Well, nope, because this is a music gig initiated by a record label based in Jakarta, Froothie Toothie Rekords. The gig titled “Estafest Ceria” will be held this weekend on 25 February 2017. It will feature several bands, not only from Froothie Toothie’s rosters but also from another record labels or independent musician. The concept for the gig is a band’s relay in which each band take turn to relay the mic until the end of the show. It also has a purpose to bring back fun to the gig where there is no gap between the artists and the spectators and all of them could interact, and share their music in one event. They also believe that dancing during the gig can make you healthy and free from disease.
The bands that participate in this gig are Hira (from Mundane Records), Samsara, Rhym (from Karma Records), Low Pink (from Kolibri Records), and two rosters from Froothie Toothie Rekords which are Letare and Lunatiques. This will be the debut live stage for Lunatiques who have released their first single titled “Euthanasia”. The event will take place at Xabi Space, Karang Tengah, Jakarta and will commence at 6 PM.
