UBER Indonesia Celebrates Valentine’s Day with Touching Stories & More Promo
Online based transportation service, UBER Indonesia celebrates Valentine’s Day (Week of Love) which fell on 14 February with touching stories from their drivers. UBER drivers as the front runners of their business who also take part in the success of the service and since joining them, those drivers have experienced many things especially in correlation with their customers. Don (40) for example who used to be an employee of an automotive corporation before joining UBER, told his memorable experience of taking the passengers across Jakarta Greater Area. The hospitality from the passengers makes the ride even more exciting for him since he did not find this kind of interaction when he did a clerical job back then. Rendra (48) also shared that once he was stuck in a heavy traffic jam caused by an accident and it required him to calm his passenger with conversation about family, work, dreams, and many things. Right when he arrived at the destination, the passenger offered him to rest and eat at his house and they even still contact each other until now.
UBER Indonesia sees the bond between the customers and the drivers to be quite important and during the month of love, they want to show affection from both sides by holding a special Valentine’s promo. During the period from 13-19 February 2017 UBER Indonesia launch the campaign #WeekOfLove. The passengers could leave a message for the drivers if they feel satisfied with the service. 30 lucky passengers who have sent the notes through the app will be given reward as much as IDR500K and 30 drivers who received the most thank you notes will be given cash money as much as two millions rupiahs. There is also 50% promo up to IDR30K for the first three rides dedicated for those who shared the promo code WEEKOFLOVE for their loved ones.
