TAN Lunch & Bar Launches Its Grand Opening on Sunday

Yogyakarta always has cool destination to visit and one of them is the culinary spot. TAN Lunch & Bar can be added to your list of go to if you want to hang out in a new place or you happen to visit the city in the future. Taking place at the northern part of Yogyakarta, TAN Lunch & Bar offers new experience and ambience to enjoy your meal. “The food and beverage in our place are different than other restaurants, because we emphasize on eastern food cuisine with the signature menu of ‘Bubur TAN’ which is cooked in Cantonese style, besides we also serve pork-based dishes here,” explains Christian Agung Y. the General Manager of TAN Lunch & Bar.

As far as the segment goes, the restaurant market their place to be a lunch destination for families and young executives since most of restaurants are filled up during dinner time. TAN Lunch & Bar also acts as a beerhouse with a self service concept. This is unique since the customers do not have to call the waiter and wait for their order to be placed at the bar. They could pick their favorite beer that is served in a chiller that is available in a custom made container at the restaurant. The inspiration for the concept came after knowing that even to order drink at a restauran’s peak hour could be a hassle, both for the customer and server. The self-service concept gives the utmost comfort for the customers at TAN Lunch & Bar.

For the interior design of the restaurant, it is divided into indoor and outdoor area with a minimalist concept with industrial accented design. Farid Stevy Asta, an artist from Yogyakarta was appointed to do the grand design of the place as well as the logo and the main theme of TAN. The place will held its grand opening on Sunday, Februaru 5th 2017 starting from 7 PM to 11 PM. There will be performance art by Gendhukmanis Dancer and music performances from Unique Band, DJ Rio Faradino, DJ Jiezy and DJ Egha. It is an event not to be missed for culinary seekers in Yogyakarta and beyond. The establishment will open daily from 11 AM to 12 PM at Jl.
