Luise Najib is Ready to Wow You with Her New Single “Love Affair”
Luise Najib is ready to enliven Indonesia’s music industry with her new upcoming single “Love Affair”. The young singer/dentist was first known as The Voice Indonesia’s contestant in 2013. Though she didn’t win the show, in 2014 she got an exceptional chance to release a recycle version of 2005 big hit “Cobalah Untuk Setia”. The single was first sung by Krisdayanti, one of Indonesia’s most famous diva and got her numerous awards. Rieka Roeslan, the writer of the song, tutored Luise Najib herself in the producing process of the recycle version of the song.
Luise Najib is not really a newcomer in music industry. Her former band The Candezza was a finalist of LA Lights Indiefest, and they got the Bronze Prize at AVIMA (Asia Pasific Voice Independent Music Awards). Luise herself had toured with famous Indonesian musicians like Superman Is Dead, J-Rocks, Bondan Prakoso, and The Sigit. Her music career started to rise after she got in the top 12 of The Voice Indonesia in 2013. A multitalented young woman, Luis was also a dentist graduated from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta.
“Love Affair” is set to be released in January 31st, 2017. The single was an unique experience for Luise since she also took part as the song’s producer, cooperating with Vicki Unggul as the co-producer. A visual artist named Gentur Suria from Inkolab also contributed in the music video. The artist created an artwork titled “Sukma” which represented the content of the single.
“Love Affair” follows this year’s trend of music, with easy-listening pop rhytm and electronical music sensation. Luise tried to tune down her powerful vocal in this single, to a more sultry and whispery vocal which made the song easy for ears. This is a ‘sit back and relax’ song which will suit as late-nate driving company, or a song in misty, cloudy weekday morning.
The song would be included in Luise’s very first abum. The title and release date of the album hadn’t been set yet, but the single will soon be released to secure Luise’s position as the most awaited newcomer in Indonesian’s music industry.
