UNAUNI, A Complete Creative Platform for Surabaya Youth is Ready To Be Held!
Surabaya youth are in for a treat since a creative event called UNAUNI is ready to be held this weekend. The event is presented by PANASEA creative community in collaboration with Action Sunday. Seeing the high enthusiasm from creative workers and communities in Surabaya, it would be a waste if this market goes unnoticed. UNAUNI was created to cater to this need and with the theme of “Creative by Communities”, the event offers four main programs which are Sport, Creative Workshop, Creative Talkshow with Public Figure, and Indie Music Performance. With a strong psychedelic and shoegaze visual concept, the event aims to introduce the latest development of creative industry for Surabaya’s citizens. Art, music, and creative market enthusiasts are the target of the event in particular.
As a part of today’s lifestyle UNAUNI features sports activity that will start the series of their programs. The event will happen throughout the day with creative bazaar, creative talkshow, and at last, indie music performances from local bands. They collaborate with some prominent names on respective fields, for example with Kendos, Indorunners, Freeletics communities for sports, with Revolt Industry, Korte Chocolate and Denim Works for workshops. Freshoes, Sub Record, Legasy, Kota Jancuk, Hip Hop Surabaya, and Subgangs will be the representatives for creative communities’ talkshow. Meanwhile Gianni Fajri the director behind Filosofi Kopi the movie, Hermawan Dasmanto as the co-owner of Ara Studio, and Luthfan Herdyanto who is the co-founder of Explore Surabaya will share their experiences during creative talkshow with public figure.
Indie rock band, Much from Malang will open UNAUNI’s indie music performance. It will be continued with Surabaya’s own band Dopest Dope and Hi Mom! will become the closing act of the celebration. The event will be free of charge and held at Townsquare Surabaya (see our event list for the details). Take as many friends, lovers, relatives, and families as you’re ready to be inspired to create.
