The witty grunge band, Besok Bubar returns with a new single
Besok Bubar, a grunge collective from Jakarta has returned from their long vacation and back into its work mode with a new single. The new song titled “Superior” has been released after their last album which was unveiled less than a year ago. Besok Bubar consists of Amar (guitar, vocal), Egie (bass) and Rega (drum) and they compose the music and lyrics for this new single.
There’s not much difference from this single compared to Besok Bubar’s previous single. The lyrics of the song itself still voices out sarcasm and also criticism of today’s society. “Superior”, which is released through their official Youtube channel tells the story about the phenomenon of people who is always talkative yet unproductive, and also talks about people with two faces that we often meet in real life.
The band which was formed in 2005 has been productive in putting out new music the underground scene in Indonesia. Despite lack of recognition from Indonesian people, the group had released at least 3 albums so far and one split album with Philipines progressive rock group band, Wilderness. “Superior” will be released digitally and available to purchase through several digital platforms like iTunes or Spotify. Besok Bubar are also set to be included on Synchronize Fest 2016 line-up. Listen to “Superior” below
