Hypeast Present Valley of Champions
There’s no stopping Surabaya’s youth to follow their passion in creative arts including the event held by Hypeast Project called Valley of Champions. They combine several subcultures like music, fashion, photography and visual art due to its strong influence to the youth. This time Hypeast present an event filled with music, art workshop and exhibition, and a market place as well. Morganostic (Djents), Rajasinga (Bandung grindcore), Dhurma (doom metal), BUAS (stoner rock), neurosesick (Malang black crust) and Dancing Tiger (techno french) are ready to rock your world in the music department. They will also introduce Bachtiar Aryo Rachman from Surabaya who have been chosen as top 12 finalist from GoAheadChallenge with his musical creation titled “To Conceive” with Morganostic.
There are also workshops for Sashiko stitching, a decorative stitching tehcnique originated from Japan, and collage resin jewelry which will teach you how to make crystal shaped jewelry from resin and make a collage pattern in it. An exhibition of visual art, fashion and photography from participants who made it to top 60 of GoAheadChallenge and a market place for creative products will also present in this event. Valley of Champions will be conducted on October 23rd from 13.00 to 22.00 PM and will take place at Kaya Resto, Jl. Jemursari No. 144 Surabaya.
