Pijar are holding a tour across Java and Bali with “Exposure Tour II”
The indie pop unit originated from Medan, Pijar, is going to hold a tour called “Exposure Tour II” across Java and Bali starting from October 14th to 23rd. The band which started their journey in 2013 currently consists of three members which are Alfredo (vocal/guitar), Ican (guitar) and Aul (drum). In this second leg of their Exposure tour, the band is trying to reach out wider area than their first Exposure tour. Pijar’s drummer, Aul, said that the objectives of the tour are they want to introduce Pijar’s music to broader audience, meet fans from other places and also give chance to those who never seen Pijar perform live. He further spilled some news that a new material would not be played during their “Exposure Tour II” and instead they’d rather keep it for the sake of surprises for their next venture. Pijar are planning to record their forthcoming album material in early 2017.
The tour is a part of their “Exposure” album promo which was released in February 2016 via Etalase Records. It received warm responses from listeners and critics alike making them a sensation in indie music scene. Pijar who are now residing in Jakarta, also prove that they are the next big thing by having been performed on We The Fest 2016 and also chosen as one of the band nominee to play on Lalala Fest in Bandung this November.
