Music Wednesday: Aldous RH – “Sensuality”
Today we’re going to shine our spotlight on an act hailing from Manchester, England named Aldous RH. The long haired lad have worked previously with Charlotte Gainsbourg, Connan Mockasin and Hudson Mohawke. He is also currently on tour with another fave of ours, Whitney in Europe. This year he released a single called “Sensuality”.
Our thought? This is one hell of a groovy jam. His sound is similar to Prince but in a lo-fi version, he also keens on displaying his falsetto. The music video for “Sensuality” features a bad green screen outtake with a full set band and backing vocals mimicking the style of those bands in the 60’s or 70’s. Give him a listen if you’re into lo-fi groovy stuff.
