The SIGIT Mythical Men Ensemble – Review
The Sigit has been known as an established rock band with a long span career and loyal fans. As their career grows, they continue to grow as an artist as well. It means that they continue to explore sounds to compliment or enhance their characters as a band.

The band which consist of Rektivianto Yoewono, Farri Icksan Wibisana, Aditya Bagja Mulyana and Donar Armando Ekana join forces with an orchestra group Falzette Music and appoint Idhay Adya to be the music composer and arranger for a very special concert that is dedicated for fans and listeners alike. They chose Bandung for this homecoming grand concert and the show started at 8.30 PM at Dago Tea House.
The concept is pretty simple but the execution was quite complicated as they featured a complete orchestra set to perform their songs like “Detourne”, “Gate of 15th”, “All The Time”, “Live In New York” and “Soul Sister”. The intimate concert with only 500 seats, offered a whole new experience that entice the senses of the audience.

Mythical Men Ensemble has successfully proved that a rock band like The Sigit could and should explore more of their sounds. They are willing to cross over their boundary and step it up.

If the usual The Sigit gigs involved jumping, headbanging, and dance craze, Mythical Men Ensemble lets the audience to sit down and enjoy the music to the fullest. In a truly The Sigit style, rockstars will be rockstars as they performed the encore in their usual band setlist without the orchestra to the audience delights. Combining orchestra with a rock band is a truly amusing experience, we hope that The Sigit’s sound exploration doesn’t stop with Mythical Men Ensemble only.
