Years & Years and Crush Headline Next Year’s Lalala Fest

BANDUNG – It’s the great news you have been waiting for all year and it comes from Lalala Fest. The biggest international forest music festival held in Bandung will greet the festivalgoers again next year. They have just recently announced the headliners that include some of the biggest names in international pop music scenes. UK’s group who is famous with their hits “Take Shelter” and “King”, Years & Years, is confirmed to headline the music festival organized by The Group. The festival is slated to be held on February 23rd on the same venue as it was, Orchid Forest, Cikole, Lembang, Bandung. Another explosive news that has been dropped is the participation from South Korean R&B crooner, Crush, on the festival. His songs and albums have managed to swipe away the Korean charts and soon, Crush will be releasing English album that is targeted to be marketed worldwide. These names are followed by Jeremy Passion, Astronomyy, and Joe Hertz who cannot be missed as well. From our local line-up, Indonesian all-time favorite band, Sheila On 7 is confirmed to perform on Lalala Fest 2019. This becomes the first participation from the band that consists of Eross Chandra, Duta, Brian, and Adam. Rising jazz singer, Ardhito Pramono will grace the event with his melancholic tunes. While Fourtwnty will spread positivity on the stage as they perform there.

The Group as the promoter and organizer behind this festival aims to elevate the scale of the festival each year, by bringing more names to the table as well as improving its overall show. In their previous two editions, Lalala Fest has managed to invite Oh Wonder, Kodaline, The Groove, and many more. Next year’s edition will see The Group offers a one-stop celebration of music with more experiences and even bigger performers.  “We are staying and changing at the same time. It became bigger than what we thought it’d be. 2018 was massive; we knew it was not yet perfect, but we got to meet so many people along the way that shared the same spirit, and that’s just awesome. The event is always about fusing inward to discover outward, to explore music as it is, and we always love it that way. Yet, this year it’s gonna be bigger. I can’t tell you further without spilling too much about all the grand surprises we have, but I promise it’s worth the wait,” said Eka Pramudita, Project Manager of LaLaLa Festival 2019.

Concluding the phase 1 line-up announcement, early bird tickets have been sold out in the light of speed.
