Kunto Aji, Eva Celia & Jordy Waelauruw Embark on MLDSPOT Intimate Tour “3 Cerita, 1 Ruang”

What happened if three talented individuals join forces to tour 6 cities across Java? MLDSPOT Intimate Tour present Kunto Aji, Eva Celia and Jordy Waelauruw on a joint concert called “3 Cerita, 1 Ruang”. These musicians have agreed with the idea to showcase an intimate concert initiated by Kunto Aji. He then met Eva Celia, a talented young musician and Jordy who is an amazing trumpet player. These three bear the same message to spread their music as wide as possible with this tour. Kunto Aji with his album “Generation Y” (2015), Eva Celia with her debut album “And So It Begins” (2016) and Jordy Waelauruw with his upcoming album “Standstill”. Kunto Aji explains, “After meeting and discussing further with Eva Celia and Jordy Waelauruw, it turned out that we three have the same frequency in terms of music. How we treat music, especially the creations that we made. I, Eva, and Jordy also happen to go through our debut albums with different background story in each of it and we keep looking for more space to spread it. The similarity made my initial idea developed into a tour.”

MLDSPOT support the idea and the plan that these musicians envision, and with that support they are going to visit 6 cities in Java which are Surabaya, Malang, Jogjakarta, Semarang, Bandung and Jakarta starting on 6 May 2017. Within 10 days, the entourage will embark on a road trip on a tour bus to visit these destined cities. They intentionally choose a rather smaller venue, so there will be no barrier between the musicians and the audience. An estimation of 150-200 people is determined to make the show more intimate, warm, and fun. MLDJAZZPROJECT will also accompany them to perform in each city. Eva Celia adds that the performance will be a significant one since she can relay her passion, love, and honesty that she puts on her songs. Moreover, she also could spread the spirit of creating music independently to the audience.
