Remember Blue? or The Moffats? These 90’s Bands Will Perform in Indonesia
Oh, the good ol’ days when “All Rise” was played all over the radio and it’s sung by no other than Blue. The UK boyband that consists of Lee Ryan, Duncan James, Simon Webbe, and Antony Costa began their career in 2000 and have placed their songs on the charts with their three albums “All Rise”, “One Love” and “Guilty”. Since their hiatus and each member’s solo endeavor, we rarely heard about Blue until a music festival in Jakarta called The 90’s Festival announced that they will headline the event. Promoted by Akselerasi Entertainment, the news came as surprise to all of 90’s generation who grew up listening to Blue or even mimicking their styles in music videos and album covers. They began hinting about their reunion since last year, and even got the chance to upload an ambiguous post where Lee Ryan can be seen playing guitar in the studio. The great thing about Blue is they combine rap and bass vocal range from Simon Webbe, with Duncan and Antohy’s baritone’s vocal ranges, down to Lee Ryan’s high pitched vocal range. With this seemingly odd combination, somehow they always have music that compliments their own unique sound.
