Celebrating its 10th-year journey, Djakarta Warehouse Project or also known as DWPX 2018 is preparing something big. After revealing its first mega line-up a month ago, they are now announcing the second phase of line-up consisting of some biggest names in EDM. The Weeknd, Armin Van Buuren, Alesso, DJ Snake, Major Lazer Soundsystem, Porter Robinson, RL Grime, are just a few names that have been announced on the first line-up. As a starter, Afrojack will join the rest of line-up. Afrojack is no stranger to the EDM scene with his chart-topping hits and massive collaborations. The Dutch DJ is mostly known for his breakthrough song “Ten Feet Tall” that catapulted his career in 2014. Baauer, who has collaborated with various rappers from US to South Korea will bring his hits like “Harlem Shake”, “Dum Dum” and many more on DWPX’s stage. His trap music has attracted a lot of enthusiasts and praises from fellow musicians like Pusha T, M.I.A, AlunaGeorge, and others.
For those who want to tone the beat down a notch, then Mura Masa‘s tunes can be your go-to-musician for DWPX 2018. He has made a name out of himself when he released a #1 collaboration with A$AP Rocky called “Lovesick”. It garnered the top position on Spotify’s worldwide viral chart. His debut album consisted of various collaborations with Charli XCX, NAO, and Desiigner. Tropical house DJ, Lost Frequencies, and the brains behind the worldwide hit ‘This Girl’, Kungs are also confirmed to perform in the festival which will be held at Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, Jimbaran, Bali. MarLo and Orjan Nilsen who represent trance music will be coming over to perform with their mentor, Armin Van Buuren. Marshmello protege, Slushii and bass player, Whethan will enjoy their first experience on DWPX and get the chance to spread their music to the mass.
