Teza Sumendra Funks It Up with “I Did It”

Soul/R&B soloist Teza Sumendra proves that there ain’t no playing safe when it comes to making music like what he did on his latest single “I Did It”. After creating a great debut in 2015 and released his self-titled album within that year, Teza received a warm welcome in the music industry for his sensual approach to soul/R&B music. As of 16 March 2018, he revealed his latest body of work called “I Did It” which in our opinion, gives the singer a new edge. He isn’t afraid of incorporating a heavy funk beats in the song and somehow it works. The song which was written and composed by Teza Sumendra with the help of Randy MP as the producer, is an upbeat soul-funk number that could move you from your seats. He also plays the dynamics of the song by slowing it down a little in the middle part before picking up the pace to the original rhythm. As for the meaning itself, well, it is not as bright as the music goes.

As stated on the press release we received from his team, “I Did It” encourages you to not waste your time over someone who can not appreciate your worth. Teza’s vocals soars through the song showcasing his lower and upper range which must be a challenging thing to do from the singer. Judging by this first single, it should only make sense that his sophomore album contain more soulful songs compared to the first one. So far, he has also released an Expanded Album which is comprised of remixes of his debut album.
