Paramore Will Hold A Concert in Indonesia Next Year!

Yesterday, Jakarta based promoter, Sonic Live Asia had hinted on their social media about a particular act that they will bring to Jakarta. On 7PM Western Indonesia Time, it was finally revealed that US rock group, Paramore will greet Indonesian Parawhores (Paramore’s fans) in 2018. It is part of the band’s Asia tour in 2018 and Jakarta has been listed as one of their tour stop alongside Manila in Philippines and Tokyo in Japan. This will be the second time that the band from Tennessee will greet their fans here. They have previously performed twice in the country in 2011, with a performance at Garuda Wisnu Kencana, Bali on 17 August 2011 and another one at Ancol on 19 August 2011. The concert in Indonesia for their “After Laughter” tour will be held on 16 February 2017 at ICE BSD, Tangerang. At the mean time, through Sonic Live’s social media pages, the ticket for the show hasn’t been on sale. The band’s shows in Philippines has been sold out. So it’s highly possible that there is going to be a ticket war for the concert in Indonesia. For their tour starting in January till April, Bleachers will tour along with Paramore except for their shows in Asia and Hawaii.

Formed in 2004, Paramore have gone through member changes, until they are settled as a 3 member band consisting of Hayley Williams (vocal), Zac Farro (drum), and Taylor York (guitar). Paramore have produced five studio albums so far, there are “All We Know Is Falling” (2005), “Riot!” (2007), “Brand New Eyes” (2009), “Paramore” (2013) and “After Laughter” (2017). Their latest received mixed reviews from fans and critics, since it is the most pop-sounding album the band have ever made. Despite their change in music direction, their fanbase is one of the most loyal rock fans out there. Surely, their upcoming show in February should not be missed by Paramore’s die-hard fans here.
