MarcoMarche Will Hold An Intimate Concert in Yogyakarta

MarcoMarche, pop acoustic duo hailing from Jakarta are reportedly performing in Yogyakarta in an intimate concert on 22 August 2017. Scheduled to perform at TAN Lunch & Bar, the duo will showcase their new materials as well as old ones. On 14 August, the band revealed their latest single called “Puisi Pagi” that will be included in their sophomore album titled “Down The Valley”. In this single, Duta Pamungkas and Chintana Ayukinanti get inspired by the morning time and it is interpreted in an easy listening folk pop number. This song is an exploration from MarcoMarche as they added various elements of musical instruments like piano, ukulele, and percussion to make the tune more dynamic. The band have previously released their debut album “Warm House” via Demajors Records in 2014. Initially formed by Duta Pamungkas and Asterina Anggraini in 2013, Asterina parted ways with the band in 2016. Since then, Chintana filled in the position but keep the format of two vocalists/guitarists.

To promote their new single, they choose to hold an intimate concert in Yogyakarta. There is no further news whether the band have planned another tour to other cities after this. Not only MarcoMarche, the event will present ukulele group from Yogyakarta, Answer Sheet as well as experimental pop band, Sungai. It will become their stage after a while, since the duo often spent their time in the recording studio lately.
