LINE Indonesia Launch LINE Concert for Music Enthusiasts!

Japanese based corporation for chatting application, LINE Indonesia unveil one of its creative initiative titled “LINE Concert” yesterday during a press conference held at Ritz Carlton, Pacific Place, Jakarta. The project aims to give the loyal customers of LINE an appreciation by getting them into the music world. A series of concerts have been planned and it will start from 8 September 2017 at Grand City Convex, Surabaya. Prominent musicians from Indonesia like Glenn Fredly, Isyana Saravasti, Tulus and Sheila On 7 have confirmed their appearance on the concert. The fans would be able to not only witness their favorite musicians, but also interact and collaborate with them through LINE Indonesia’s designed programs. “In line with the corporation’s mission “Closing The Distance” to make the relationship between the people with our services closer, LINE Indonesia utilize music as a universal language to unify the people from various backgrounds,” explained Ongki Kurniawan, Managing Director of LINE Indonesia.

Some of you might question why Surabaya is chosen as the first stop for the concert. It is no other than the city has a huge base of loyal LINE users and this concert is an appreciation for their never ending support. The concert will be taken to other cities so people could feel the atmosphere of “Musik Asik Cara LINE”. Eventually, the climax from the series of concert is a show which will be attended by top international musicians. The official account of LINE Concert was also launched during the press conference day and it will later update the latest news in entertainment and music, as well as the updates from LINE Concert itself. Glenn Fredly who attended the presscon also said his excitement of participating in the concert and he also gave a little taste of his music by performing “My Everything” on an acoustic guitar.
