Lukman Hakim Reveals His Hidden Feelings Through “Majority In Minor”
Lukman Hakim is a musician and also a human being who wants to reveal his feelings through “Majority In Minor” EP. The mini album is a self-release that contains two tracks which are “Tak Terdeteksi” and “Berjalan Berlawanan”. He pours out what’s in his head and heart through music with this project. He says poetically, “There is a time when someone conceal a secret he would not reveal. Most of the time it is wrapped in feelings.” The musician wrote a long article which explained that the two tracks in the EP have to be understood as a continuous effort to unveil a secret he’s been hiding for three years. The music which last for 9 minutes can be said to have summed up the whole narration.
The singer further writes down the background behind “Majority In Minor” in his post. He said that a sudden rush of memories that went through his mind about a particular feeling had pushed him to write his music. He thought that it’s about time to spill it, since if it kept longer someone would eventually hear about it. He also subtly hints about a particular person that he wants to send his message to through this album. The album is also a therapeutic medium for him and leads him to think that there shouldn’t be any hidden feelings kept in someone’s heart. He utters, “Because the easiest comfort is when someone feels the sense of relief, in which it could be felt after telling a story comprehensively.”
